Data deletion
Tex Rogue
Tex Rogue has no accounts. There is no sign-up or login, and the released game sends nothing to us. We hold no account or personal data on our side, so there is nothing for us to delete.
Delete your saves and settings
Everything the game stores lives on your own device. To delete it:
- Android. Go to Settings → Apps → Tex Rogue → Storage and tap Clear storage or Clear data, or uninstall the game. Either one removes all saves and settings for good.
- macOS, Windows and web. Uninstall the game, or delete the Tex Rogue folder in your user data directory. On macOS that is
~/Library/Application Support/Godot/app_userdata/Tex Rogue, and on Windows it is%APPDATA%\Godot\app_userdata\Tex Rogue. In a browser, clear the site data for the game's page to remove web saves. - Inside the game, starting a New game replaces your current save.
Delete feedback you sent from a test build
If you tested an internal development build and sent feedback through its form, you can ask us to delete it. Email with the subject "Delete my feedback". Include anything that helps us find your entries: roughly when you sent them, their subject lines, the email address you entered if you gave one, or the device model you used.
- We delete the matching feedback entries, their attached logs, screenshots and save files, and the stored IP address and approximate location.
- We confirm by email within 30 days. Deleted entries are purged from storage permanently within 72 hours of deletion.
- Performance telemetry from test builds holds no name or contact details. You can stop it at any time in the build's Settings, which also deletes batches not yet sent. If you ask, we also delete the telemetry sessions that match your device model and dates.
