Privacy policy
In short. This website runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. Nothing loads from another company until you press the button that shows our email address. Then Google reCAPTCHA loads and may set cookies.
1. Who we are
This website belongs to Pyrrogue, a studio of CORINTHIUS SAS ("we", "us"). CORINTHIUS SAS is responsible for the processing this policy describes. Send privacy questions and requests to . The address appears when you press "Show email" and pass a quick check that keeps spam robots out.
2. This website
The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, uses no local storage and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. It uses no web fonts, and pages load nothing from other companies.
3. Google reCAPTCHA
Our email address sits behind a "Show email" button. Nothing from Google loads until you press it. When you do, your browser loads Google reCAPTCHA, which shows an "I'm not a robot" check. Google then receives your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the check, and may set its own cookies. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to reCAPTCHA. We get only a pass or fail answer from Google.
4. Hosting
Vercel Inc. hosts the site. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical data it needs to deliver the pages and protect the service. That means your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page you asked for. Vercel keeps it in short-lived server logs. We do not use this data to identify visitors. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
5. Feedback from test builds
Some older test builds of our games send feedback to an address on this website. The site passes those requests straight on to our feedback service. It does not read or keep them. The game's own privacy policy describes that feedback and how to have it deleted.
6. How to Park
How to Park collects no personal data. It makes no network calls and sends nothing to us or anyone else. The only thing it keeps is its settings, such as the language, and those stay on your device. If you play it on itch.io, itch's own privacy policy applies to that site.
7. Other sites
Links to our games' sites, itch.io and Google Play take you to sites with their own privacy policies. Our games' policies:
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in the European Union and United Kingdom or the CCPA in California, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to its processing, or to complain to your data protection authority. We keep no personal data about visitors to this website. If you wrote to us, we hold your message and address. Write to and we will answer within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect.
10. Tex Rogue
In short. The released game collects no personal data. It has no advertising, analytics or tracking code, and it makes no network connections. Your saves and settings stay on your device. This website runs no analytics and sets no cookies of its own. Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies, but only after you press the button that shows our email address.
1. Who we are
Tex Rogue is made by Pyrrogue, a studio of CORINTHIUS SAS ("we", "us"). CORINTHIUS SAS publishes the game on the stores and is responsible for the processing this policy describes. Send privacy questions and requests to . The address appears when you press "Show email" and pass a quick check that keeps spam robots out.
2. The game (release versions)
This section covers every public version of Tex Rogue, whether you got it from Google Play, itch.io or any other store.
- We collect no personal data. The game does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, advertising ID or any other personal information. It has no accounts and no login.
- No network connection. Release builds contain no networking code, and the Android version does not request the Internet permission. Nothing you do in the game reaches us or anyone else.
- No third-party SDKs. The game contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social or payment SDK. It has no ads and no in-app purchases.
- No chat or user-generated content. You cannot talk to other players or publish anything through the game.
- Data on your device. The game keeps your saved games, your settings such as language, volume and controls, and a local log of recent game events in its private storage on your device. We cannot access these files. They stay until you delete them in the game, clear the app's data or uninstall the game.
- Device permissions. The game does not ask for your location, camera, microphone, contacts or any files outside its own storage.
Stores and platforms
The store you download the game from, such as Google Play or itch.io, processes data about you under its own privacy policy. Google Play may give us aggregated statistics that identify no one, such as install counts. It may also give us crash and "app not responding" reports that Google collects from devices whose owners chose to share diagnostics. We use these only to fix problems in the game. See Google's Privacy Policy and the itch.io Privacy Policy.
3. This website
- The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies of its own, uses no local storage and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- Our email address sits behind a "Show email" button. Nothing from Google loads until you press it. When you do, your browser loads Google reCAPTCHA, which shows an "I'm not a robot" check. Google then receives your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the check, and may set its own cookies. reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We get only a pass or fail answer from Google.
- Vercel Inc. hosts the site. Like any web host, Vercel processes the technical data it needs to deliver the pages and protect the service, such as your IP address, your browser's user agent and the page you asked for, and keeps it in short-lived server logs. We do not use this data to identify visitors. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- The Google Play badge is a plain link and loads nothing from Google until you click it.
4. Internal test builds
This section applies only to development builds that we hand directly to the developer and a small number of invited testers. These builds are labelled as development builds. We do not distribute them on Google Play or any public store, and they are not the game described in sections 2 and 3.
To help us find bugs and performance problems, internal test builds can send the data below.
Performance telemetry
- What it sends. A random session ID created at each launch; the device model, operating system version, graphics renderer and screen size; the build version; frame-time and start-up timings; which screen is open; game state such as the in-game day, in-game cash, the vehicle and its speed; and recent game events and error messages.
- Where it goes. To a computer the developer runs on the developer's local network. None of it goes to any third party.
- How to stop it. Turn telemetry off in the game's Settings ("Play data to dev Mac"). Turning it off also deletes any batches still waiting to be sent.
Feedback form
- What it sends. Nothing until you choose to send feedback. Then the form sends your mood rating, subject and message; an email address, only if you add one so we can reply; game logs, a screenshot of the game and your save file, each of which you can switch off in the form; the build and device information listed above; and a random installation ID that the game creates, which lets us group reports from the same installation.
- Where it goes. Over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our feedback service. Vercel hosts the service and keeps the entries and attachments in private Vercel Blob storage. Vercel acts as our service provider and processes the data only to host it for us.
- Approximate location. The feedback service records the IP address each report came from. With a local MaxMind GeoLite2 database it works out an approximate location from that address: country, region, city and network operator. We use this to tell testers' reports apart and to spot network problems. After 30 days the service shortens the IP address to its network part and removes the approximate coordinates.
- How we use it. Only to reproduce and fix bugs and to improve the game. We never sell or share this data, and we never use it for advertising.
- How long we keep it. We keep feedback while it is useful for development. We delete it when we remove the entry or when you ask us to, and deleted entries are purged permanently within 72 hours. Telemetry on the developer's computer stays only as long as development needs it.
To get your feedback deleted, see Data deletion.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal data. Release versions of the game collect none. We share data from internal test builds only with the service providers named above, which host it for us, or when the law requires it.
6. Security
Release builds collect nothing, so we hold nothing to protect. For internal test builds, feedback travels only over HTTPS, our service accepts it only from our builds, and only the developer can read it, through a password-protected dashboard.
7. Children
Tex Rogue is a game for a general audience. The released game collects no personal data from anyone, so it collects none from children, including children under 13. We give internal test builds only to adult testers we know. If you believe a child has sent us information through a test build, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, for example under the GDPR in the European Union and United Kingdom or the CCPA in California, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to its processing, or to complain to your data protection authority. For the released game we hold no personal data about you. For internal test builds, write to and we will answer within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how the game or this website handles data, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. If a future release of the game ever collected data, this policy, the in-game notice and the store's data safety information would say so first.
