Terms of use

Tex Rogue

Effective October 17, 2026. These terms are the end-user licence agreement (EULA) for Tex Rogue and the terms for its pages on this website.

1. Agreement

Tex Rogue (the "Game") is made by Pyrrogue, a studio of CORINTHIUS SAS, which publishes it ("we", "us"). By installing or playing the Game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or play it. If you got the Game from a store, that store's terms also apply, for example the Google Play Terms of Service. Where they conflict with these terms on matters the store requires, the store's terms win.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game, free of charge, on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. The Game is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights not expressly granted.

You may stream, record and share videos and screenshots of yourself playing the Game, including on monetised channels. Just don't suggest that we endorse your channel.

3. What you may not do

4. Third-party components

The Game includes open-source software and freely licensed content: the Godot Engine and the Microsoft .NET runtime, both under the MIT licence, road data derived from OpenStreetMap under the Open Database License, and CC0 music and sound. Each component's own licence governs it. The Game shows those licences under About & licences, and our Credits & licences page lists them. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.

5. Fiction

Tex Rogue is a work of fiction set in an imagined West Texas. Its towns, ranches, companies, radio stations and characters are invented; some names echo real places, but any resemblance to real businesses or people is coincidental. The Game is not a simulation of real oilfield, trucking or driving practice and is not advice about them. Drive safely in real life.

6. Price, purchases and accounts

The Game is free. It has no advertising, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no online features. Money in the Game is fictional and has no real value.

7. Your data

The Game keeps your saves and settings on your device. Our Privacy policy describes how we handle data. Back up your device if you want to keep your saves; we cannot recover them for you.

8. Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop offering the Game at any time. Updates may change gameplay or, rarely, make old saves unreadable; we try to avoid this. These terms apply to updates too.

9. No warranty

The Game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You use the Game at your own risk and you are solely responsible for any consequences of using it. To the maximum extent the law allows, Pyrrogue is not liable for any damages or losses of any kind arising from the Game or its use.

10. Ending the licence

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Game. The licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Sections 4, 9 and 11 still apply after the licence ends.

11. General

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a term, we have not waived it. These terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Game. We may change these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed, and if you keep playing after a change, you accept it.
